Aina joined Y.O.U. after almost 13 years at the national non-profit Interfaith Worker Justice, charged with managing the organizational functions of administration, fundraising, financial management and human resources.
Aina has trained and consulted with hundreds of other small non-profit and religious leaders in these areas and is the author of Walking the Walk: A values-centered approach to building a strong non-profit. She believes that to build effective and powerful organizations, we must create strong internal systems and invest in the staff and board to support and enhance our mission. Our values guide the best way to do that work.
Aina has a BA in International Business from Augustana College and a master's degree of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School. Aina is a proud Evanston resident and her life is happy and overflowing with family, church and community.
