Chrishane N. Cunningham serves as a Y.O.U. Youth and Family Counselor.
Chrishane, MA, LPC, NCC is a Chicago lover and native. She attended high school in Pebble Beach, California and received her BA in Psychology with a minor in Public Health from Boston University. After returning home, she attended Northwestern University and received her MA in Counseling. She has worked with Y.O.U. since October 2017 and truly enjoys working and learning with the youth we serve. Her passions include trauma informed care, youth of colour wellness, and exploring stigma and barriers to mental health treatment in communities of colour. In the future, she hopes to receive a PhD in the field of Psychology continuing her passion to serve youth and communities of colour while promoting social justice.
In her spare time she enjoys reading and writing, all things music related, travelling, and spending time with her mom, friends, and partner.
