Information Technology is an area India is well known for. India now produces a high number of IT professionals. There are a number of jobs in this field including computer engineers, software engineers, computer aided designers etc. While this is a growing area, it is very competitive with increasing numbers of people pursuing it each year. It is a field where you need to be constantly updating your knowledge to keep up with the fast evolution of technology.

This is the perfect sector for people who love spending all day in front of the computer! As well as enjoying spending time by yourself with the computer, you may well also need to be good with people and very patient in order to effectively explain complicated issues very simply to clients or complete beginners. Generally, a logical and mathematical mind will be ebst suited to dealing with computer technology and IT. You may also need to be quite creative or good at graphic designing if you want to go into web design for example.
