Generally people believe jobs the Tours & Travels sector involve a lot of traveling, this is not always true. Tour guide and adventure travel guide certainly do involve traveling, going to new places, meeting new people. For people who love traveling, this is a great job! There are however also more sedentary jobs such as travel agent where only a little traveling is involved. You will still need to have an interest in visiting different countries and in finding out about destinations and local cultures in order to explain and sell these to your clients. Overall, you’ll end up with a perfect geographical knowledge – and you may or may not gain first hand experience visiting these places. Today, Tour & Travels is a big industry and it comprises numerous interesting jobs.
