Frequently asked questions
 13. I completed my graduation in 2000, but I’ve failed to establish my career and I really don’t know what to do now.
Most of us go through a phase of self doubt and confusion. Be glad it happened to you early in your career. Your best bet is to follow the tips given in questions 8 and 9 and visit a career counsellor so you can assess your areas of strength and interest. This will help you identify the best way forward. Alternatively, sit with a good friend or relative and discuss your strengths and interests. Often people are not aware of all the possibilities that are available to them so it is also useful to have a look at some newspapers, magazines and at the internet. Focus on the areas that make you feel enthusiastic or happy. Be realistic about your abilities but also remember that you can always go for more training and that many skills are learnt on the job.
