First think about your own strengths and interests. Then think of the kind of career you want, think of the areas where there is a growth of employment opportunities. Since you are a B.Com graduate, if you are good with and enjoy working with numbers, you can look at careers in Banking, Insurance or Accounting. For all of these there are specialised courses or competitive exams you can take. Only M.Com would not necessarily give you any advantage for most careers. It is better to do a specialised course like Chartered Financial Accounting or Actuary. In fact, with a B.Com you have many career options in the corporate sector, which do not require an MBA. If you are a good communicator, Sales & Marketing is an option; you could attend a diploma in Sales & Marketing, or a course in Export Management, or even in Retail Management. |
