Frequently asked questions
 7. How do I choose the right career?
First you need to find a career goal. A career goal can be a specific job you want to do - such as being a doctor or teacher - or a particular field you want to work in, such as medicine or education. Career goals help you focus, they guide you towards what you want in your life - rather than just drifting from job to job. Generally, a career goal is based on your skills and interests, and the current career possibilities and job trends. A career goal may help you discover more career possibilities: there are usually several job options within any chosen career. For instance, if you choose a medical career, you may want to be a researcher, a nurse or a doctor. There is always some flexibility but it is important to think about your general goal.
