Laura-Min Proctor

Laura-Min Proctor is a Partner at William Blair and advises on impact investing.

Laura-Min works with a select number of family office level clients on traditional investments, trust and estate planning, lending, and philanthropy. She also advises interested clients on impact investing. She co-leads William Blair’s cross-functional working group to advance the firm's ESG initiatives. She is also a co-chair of the Community Impact Steering Committee, which facilitates the William Blair Foundation grant-making. Before joining William Blair in 2016, she spent eight years with J.P. Morgan Private Bank as an investment specialist and advisor.  She has her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her M.B.A. from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.

Laura-Min and her husband were raised in Evanston and are now living and raising their own children in Evanston.  She spent several years after undergraduate college helping Evanston co-founders grow Center for Independent Futures, a not-for-profit organization that supports individuals with disabilities. She currently serves on the Board of Directors and Investment Committees of Y.O.U. and the Evanston Community Foundation.  When time permits she enjoys traveling, exercising, cooking, and daydreaming about getting back to being a pilot on a regular basis.
