Brandi was born in Bloomington, Indiana and moved to Evanston in high school. She graduated from Western Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics. She worked closely with the former mayor of Evanston to advocate for Evanston’s youth and young adults. While in college, she worked with the City of Evanston’s Youth and Young Adult Department and the Children’s Defense Fund, serving youth in the Evanston community. After college, Brandi began working with Youth and Opportunity United.
In her free time, Brandi loves traveling, shopping, spending time with her friends and family, reading, and going on adventures. She is passionate about understanding the external factors that contribute to discrimination in education and being an ally to youth so that they are able to advocate for themselves more readily than previous generations.
