Gianna grew up in New Lenox, IL. She attended Illinois State University and graduated with her bachelor’s degree in University Studies in May. While at school, she was able to volunteer for multiple youth programs in the Bloomington-Normal area which made her extremely interested in a career in youth development. Also, Gianna was a part of the student organization at Illinois State called the Student Wellness Ambassador Team (SWAT), which is a health resource outlet for students on campus. An aspiring writer and fan of theatre, she wrote and performed in The Vagina Monologues and The Monologues at Illinois State University.
She is so ecstatic to be working with the youth in the community. She wishes to give back the love and support that she received growing up to a community of children who need it. She thinks it is very important to help develop self-confidence in students so they can find their version of success. In her free time, she loves reading, writing, making cards and gifts for her friends, rollerblading, waving her arms wildly in the air and exploring nature.
