Prior to joining Y.O.U., Laura led all financial and operational functions at Josephinum Academy of the Sacred Heart, an all-girls independent school in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago. She also previously worked for Chief of Staff to the CEO at Braven, a start-up non-profit focused on ensuring that the future leaders of our world come from each and every neighborhood. Before completing her MBA, she worked in the commercial real estate industry. She currently serves on the Board of Directors (and as Board Treasurer) of GlobeMed, a non-profit committed to ensuring equity in global health (also headquartered in Evanston).
Laura has a B.S. in Management (with concentrations in Finance and Accounting) from Tulane University and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management. She lives in Evanston with her husband and two young sons.
