Kelsey joins Y.O.U. excited to cultivate meaningful partnerships for the empowerment of youth and families in our communities. She is driven by needs of disproportionately underserved individuals and families, and is eager to dive into the work of Y.O.U.
A strategic nonprofit professional, her career toggles between strategic operations and fundraising. She comes to Y.O.U. from a 50+ year community mental health and older adult services organization where she led grantwriting and administration, strategic planning and project facilitation, along with program implementation for multiple large public programs. Kelsey received her Bachelor of Arts from Ohio Wesleyan University in Latin American Studies and Spanish, and minored in Film Studies. A life-long Chicagoland resident, she grew up swimming for the McGaw YMCA’s swim team, and working at her family business in Evanston. She’s thrilled to be serving the communities which helped shape her and that she once again gets to call home.
