The building also houses Y.O.U.’s dedicated staff team in collaborative, open office spaces.
Our youth are innovators, artists, and engineers. Whether it’s film-editing software, a 3D printer, or circuit boards, our Makerspace has everything youth need to become master creators.
Our central gathering space is a place for youth, families, staff, partners, and other community members to join together in learning and celebration. The collaborative, multi-purpose room seats up to 70 audience-style. Reservations include: • 75 chairs • 6 round tables • 11 rectangular tables • AV equipment with projector and screen; wireless mic capacity; and teleconferencing
Nothing builds community like cooking and sharing a meal! Our kitchen provides commercial-grade facilities where youth can build culinary skills, experience new cultural foods, and deepen their relationships with one another.
Through a partnership with The Talking Farm, our learning garden has been designed, built, and maintained by Y.O.U. youth. The garden offers youth the opportunity to learn about scientific concepts like photosynthesis, explore techniques such as composting and sustainable farming, and harvest produce to cook in the demonstration kitchen.
Our conference room located on the second floor of the building can host up to 14 participants. The room is outfitted for in-person and hybrid meetings including teleconferencing.
