Our Y.O.U.th Serve AmeriCorps*State members serve as mentors and workshop leaders within Y.O.U.’s afterschool and summer programs.
Y.O.U.th Serve members provide crucial academic support, social and emotional enrichment, and life skills development. They also assist our other program staff in building relationships with parents, families, and community members through Family Nights and other programming.
Our VISTA members strengthen our organization by promoting initiatives that alleviate poverty through volunteering and the mobilization of resources.
VISTAs develop initiatives for Y.O.U. and the communities we serve that enable people to become self-sufficient and secure. VISTA members serve as catalysts for change, living and working alongside community members to advance local solutions.
