In Summer 2020, high school youth in the Food, Farming, Future program shared photos of the meals they made at home and their stories of sharing the food with family. Here is one of their favorite recipes that is featured during the Annual Benefit!
Serves 3-4
Total time 25 minutes
Ingredients
Bring 2 quarts of water to a boil. Add 2-4 tablespoons of salt to water, add bucatini. While pasta is cooking, saute garlic and red pepper fake over medium heat until fragrant. Add chopped Swiss chard to saucepan, saute until reduced in size, then finish with 2 table-spoons of butter.
When bucatini is cooked to al dente, drain and reserve one cup of cooking liquid. Add bucatini, parmesan, and cooking liquid to saucepan and stir until creamy. Optionally finish with lemon juice, salt, pepper, butter, or olive oil to taste.
