Martin Maxwell

Martin has been Executive Director of Finance at Youth Opportunity United since 2022.
He has over 27 years of not-for-profit finance experience including Regional Business
Manager at Children’s Home + Aid, Finance Director at Maine Center, Inc., Vice
President and CFO at Unity Parenting and Counseling, and his current position at
Y.O.U. Martin holds a B.A. in English and M.B.A. in Finance, both from Loyola
University of Chicago. Martin grew up in Evanston, attended Evanston public schools,
and has remained connected to the community throughout his life. It is this connection
that draws Martin to Y.O.U.’s mission.
