Dawn’s expertise includes developing long-range strategic and financial plans, business and structural planning for merger, acquisition and partnership transactions, designing physician alignment relationships, and advising on post-acute strategies.
Dawn Samaris has lived in Evanston for more than 15 years and is the mother of two middle-schoolers in Evanston public schools. Her husband is a teacher in Evanston’s Two-Way Immersion Spanish language program. She is passionate about supporting both the healthcare and educational aspects of Y.O.U.’s services in support of our community’s youth.
Prior to joining Kaufman Hall, Dawn was an auditor with Deloitte & Touche and a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala. She has an M.B.A. with distinction from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and a business degree from the University of Arizona. Dawn is also a Certified Public Accountant.
